Review: I would like to thank Michael Phillip Cash for the chance to read another of his brilliant books. After reading other books by MPC, I just could not wait to read this one as I was sure that it would be just as gripping as the previous books that I have read.
The excitement I had for this book was definitely justified. This book has a gripping storyline that had me hooked instantly. I found that I just could not stop reading this book. This book is a unique mix of the supernatural and romance. Reading this book made me feel like I was connected wholly with the characters. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys supernatural and/or romance novels and also enjoys being able to get lost in a book. Book Review | Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu & David Brian | Carmilla: The Wolves Of Styria

Carmilla: The Wolves of Styria

I received this book for free from the author. This book was sent to me through Bostick Communications. I was sent this book in exchange for an honest review.

Author: Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu & David Brian
Title: Carmilla: The Wolves Of Styria
Genre: Horror, Gothic, Vampires, Supernatural, Paranormal, Thriller, Classics, Historical

Synopsis: When fate draws together the lives of two young women, their mutual attraction quickly flourishes into a bond which threatens the boundaries of social etiquette in 1860's Styria. As their relationship continues to develop further, they remain oblivious to the growing horror which surrounds them, as throughout the province other young women begin dying in mysterious circumstances. Meanwhile, others are falling victim to the apparently random attacks of a rampaging pack of wolves. A local doctor named Alvinci desperately attempts to find an explanation for the bizarre deaths, but when the truth is finally revealed, he quickly realises that he is in way over his head.

Years before the publication of Bram Stoker's Dracula, Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu produced a haunting gothic mystery called Carmilla. Now, more than a hundred years later, David Brian has used much of the original narrative to create a very different version of Carmilla.

Introducing an array of new characters, and touching on subjects that would have been considered taboo during the 1800's. Brian has succeeded in bringing a whole new level of horror and tragedy, to the legend of Carmilla.

Carmilla: The wolves of Styria is a thrilling ride. A dark romance. A dark and twisting mystery. A gothic classic for the 21st Century.

Review: I would like to thank the author for the chance to read such an amazing book. This is truly such an amazing and interesting book that I find myself somewhat obsessed with. At first I found it hard to get into the book but a few chapters in and I was hooked. I was not able to stop myself from reading this book and could not put it down to do other things. I had my head in this book constantly for many days. I have lost many hours to the reading of this book and I would not change this for anything as it was worth every second I spent lost in the pages of this book. This book will definitely have a permanent place in my collection as well as in my heart. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys historical fiction about the supernatural beings surrounded by myth. This book is a must for anyone who appreciates getting lost between the pages of a book and a story that feels more real than a book. This book makes you feel like you are experiencing the story through your own eyes and not off the pages of a book.

Book Review | Stephenie Meyer | Eclipse

Eclipse

Author: Stephenie Meyer

Genre: Young Adult, Fiction

Synopsis:

This leaves Bella surrounded by danger and whilst she is worrying about her safety she is forced to choose between her love for Edward, the vampire, and her friendship with Jacob, the werewolf, who are natural enemies. Bella knows her decision had the potential to increase the struggle between vampires and werewolves. Bella is due to graduate and she has to make the decision between life or death.

Review:
As with the first two twilight books it took me a couple of chapters to get into the book properly but then I was gripped and just couldn’t bring myself to stop reading and put the book down. This book is perfect for young adults or anyone who is interested in romance, fiction or supernatural tales as this book is a mixture of all three themes. The plot line follows on from the previous two books and the plot of them all together makes the perfect supernatural romance story line that can keep people hooked for days or even weeks. I recommend this book set even if Twilight never appealed to you as I gave it a chance after thinking it would be a bad story line and absolutely loved them and I am now onto the last book of the set.

Review:
When I started to read this book it took me a couple of paragraphs to get into the book as with twilight but when I did get into the book, I was hooked and it was impossible to stop reading and put the book down. This book is the carry on to Twilight and it is perfect for the young adult or anyone who is into fiction, romance or the supernatural. This book continues to mix the supernatural with romance as the main female character refuses to give up her love for the vampire. I recommend reading this book even if it has not appealed to you as I once thought that the twilight books would be a bad read until I read them and then I was hooked and in love with these books.

Review:
When I first picked up the book to read it took me a couple of paragraphs to get into the storyline and then I was hooked and found it extremely hard to put the book down. This is a brilliant book and it is perfect for young people who love to read fiction books and love a bit of the supernatural. This book mixes the supernatural with a love story. This book is part of a set and they are all about love, vampires and werewolves. Even if this book does not sound appealing, I recommend reading it anyway as I once thought that the Twilight book set was bad until I actually took the time to read them and then I was in love with this book and went from one twilight book to the other as I just couldn’t stop reading.
